The Architecture of Bridgerton Mansions

It seems to be the trend that, every time there is a new season of Bridgerton, the internet is suddenly flooded with a "ton" of new Regency content. The former history major (and romance novel junkie) in me absolutely squeal with joy every time I spot a new article about the sets, fashions, designs, history, and language of Bridgerton.

Today, I want to highlight this magnificent video that Architectural Digest created, to showcase their massive knowledge of the Bridgerton mansions. They break down the architectural design details of all the Bridgerton mansions, castles, and neighborhoods. What absolutely tickled me, was when Michael Wyetzner of Michielli + Wyetzner Architects had this to say about the Bridgerton family home:

"Compared to the rest of the houses on the show, this is actually one of the more humble ones. It's the only one that's out of bricks, and I think it symbolizes the people who are sort of striving to be in the upper echelon..."

Um... But the Bridgertons ARE part of the upper echelon. They are GOALS. Anyhow, watch this juicy video filled with lovely architectural facts for yourself. I have a feeling you will enjoy it as much as I did!

And if you have time, read this magnificent article Architectural Digest wrote about the sets of Bridgerton Season 2. You won't regret it!
